Giveaway rules

We're giving 25 free copies of Maker Simulator to people on the waitlist, drawn in rounds of 5. Here is how it works, in plain words.

These rules are a draft.

No purchase needed

You never have to buy anything to enter or to win. Buying something won't help you win.

How to enter

Join the waitlist on this site. That's your entry. One entry per email address: signing up more than once, or with made up addresses, doesn't add entries and can get them removed.

Who can enter

Anyone 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to enter, and they may need to help claim the prize. People who make Maker Simulator, and their families, can't win. The giveaway is void where the law doesn't allow it.

When the draws happen

The 25 copies are drawn in rounds of 5. The draw dates will be posted on this page and emailed to everyone on the waitlist before the first draw, and no draw happens until then. Everyone on the waitlist at the time of a draw is entered, except people who already won. If a copy goes unclaimed, it goes into the next round, until all 25 are given away.

Draw dates coming soon. We'll post them here and email the waitlist before the first draw.

How winners are picked

At random, by a computer, from everyone on the waitlist at the time of the draw. Every entry has the same chance. Your odds depend on how many people are on the list.

The prize

One Steam key for Maker Simulator on PC, worth $19.99 (the planned price). You need a free Steam account to use it. Keys are sent by email when the game launches on Steam. A prize can't be swapped for cash or passed to someone else.

If you win

We email you at the address on the waitlist. Reply within 30 days to claim your copy, and tell us if you'd like a first name or nickname shown on the winners list. If we don't hear back in 30 days, the copy goes into the next draw.

Your privacy

We use your email only for the waitlist and the giveaway, and never sell it. Winners are listed below with a masked email, or a first name or nickname only if they choose one. More in our privacy page.
