Privacy, in plain words
The waitlist keeps as little as it can, for one reason: to tell you when Maker Simulator launches.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- When you signed up.
- Where the link came from, if the link you followed said so (like "tiktok"). Otherwise it just says "site".
That's it. No name, no age, no location, no profile.
What we use it for
Only to email you when Maker Simulator launches. We don't sell your email, share it, or use it for ads.
Getting off the list
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Click it and your address is removed from the list. You can also reply to any of our emails and ask us to delete it.
No analytics, no ad trackers
This site has no analytics and no ad trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own. The fonts and images are served from this site.
Stopping spam
To stop bots from flooding the list, we count how many times a device tries to sign up in a few minutes. We keep a scrambled code made from your IP address, never the address itself, and delete it within about an hour.
The signup form can also run Cloudflare Turnstile, a quick check from Cloudflare that tells people from bots. It loads from challenges.cloudflare.com and looks at signals from your browser to make that call. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers it.
Kids
Maker Simulator is made to be kid friendly, and the waitlist is for people 13 or older. Younger players: ask a parent to sign up for you, with their own email. If you think a child under 13 signed up by themselves, reply to any of our emails and we'll delete the address.
Where it lives
The site and the list run on Cloudflare (Workers and a D1 database). Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the connection when you visit.
